The present petition is filed seeking parole for a period of two months on the ground of illness of the father of the petitioner.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that the parole was sought on the ground that the father of the petitioner is admitted in hospital. He submits that the father of the petitioner has since been discharged, and therefore, the said ground no longer exists.

Considering the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to pass any further order in the present writ petition. 4.
The petitioner is at liberty to file a fresh application seeking parole on the grounds as available in accordance with the rules.
