% 21.10.2024 1.

This writ petition has been preferred on behalf of Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following reliefs: "a) Issue a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.1 to release the salary dues for the months of June 2018 to June 2019 and other service benefits with interest to the Petitioner, b) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus and / or any other appropriate writ / order to direct the respondents to issue "No Objection Certificate" to the Petitioner."

2.

Liberty was granted to the Petitioner to take recourse to appropriate remedy as per law qua prayer (a).

3.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submits that Petitioner has taken up another employment but till date NOC has not been issued by Respondent No.1. Per contra, counsel for Respondent No.1, on instructions, from Mr. Rajeev Naithani (Accountable Manager) submits that NOC has already been issued to the Petitioner and this is fortified by the fact that Petitioner has taken another employment which was not possible in the absence of the NOC from Respondent No.1. Be that as it may, without prejudice to this submission, learned counsel candidly submits that if the NOC has not been issued, the same shall be issued and communicated to the Petitioner within six weeks from today and in case the NOC has been issued and is available in record, another copy will be dispatched to the Petitioner. 4.

In view of the above, no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition and the same is accordingly disposed of taking the assurance given on behalf of Respondent No.1 on record. Pending application also stands disposed of.
