This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of mandate of an arbitral tribunal ["Tribunal"] which is in seisin of disputes between the parties. 2.

The Tribunal was constituted pursuant to a common order dated 06.04.2022, passed in OMP (I) (COMM) 377/2020 and ARB P. 954/2021. The mandate of the learned Tribunal expired on 03.05.2024. 3.

I am informed that the proceedings are at the stage of crossexamination of witnesses. 4.

Mr. Ashish Aggarwal, learned counsel for the respondent, appears on advance notice and states that the respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

In view of the above, and with the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed and the mandate of the Tribunal is extended for a period of one year, from today. 6.

It is noted that the learned counsel for both parties have assured the Court that they will cooperate with the learned Tribunal for disposal of the reference within this time frame and no unnecessary adjournments will be sought.

The petition, alongwith the pending application, stands disposed of in these terms.
