This application has been filed by the applicant under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, 'CrPC') praying for release on regular bail in relation to FIR No. 3086/2015 registered at Police Station: Mehrauli, resulting in CIS SC No. 7671/2016 where the applicant is facing charge under Sections 376(2)/506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short, 'IPC') and Section 5 and Section 6 read of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (in short, 'POCSO').

I am informed that the trial is at the final stage and even the arguments of the parties have been partly heard and the trial is now listed for hearing of further final arguments on 29.01.2024. 3.
