The petitioner, her father, and respondents No. 1 and 2, all are personally present. They are also represented by their Counsel. All of them were heard for a considerable length.

The petitioner is the daughter-in-law of respondent no.1 and the wife of respondent no.2.

During the course of hearing, it transpires that vide order dated 29.08.2025, the Court directed for depositing of the keys of the premises i.e., IX/7198, Second Floor, Mahavir Gali, Guru Govind, Gali, Gandhi Nagar, Delhi-110031 (hereinafter "Subject Premises") with the Registry of this Court. The subject premises, therefore, as on date, is locked. 4.
The parties have agreed for the following amicable arrangements: The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
(i) Respondent no.1 shall make a payment of Rs. 15,000/- towards monthly rental + Rs. 5,000/- towards maintenance of the premises with effect from April, 2026. The said amounts shall be deposited into the account of the petitioner on or before 10th of each month. The account details of the petitioner have been furnished to respondent No.1. This arrangement shall remain in force unless the same is modified by the Court. This amount of total Rs. 20,000/- shall be against the petitioner's right of 'shared household' and in addition to any other amount which the petitioner is receiving or shall receive from respondent No.2.
(ii) The keys of the subject premises are directed to be released by the Registry to respondent no.1 with immediate effect. (iii) The belongings of the petitioner, if lying in the subject premises, be allowed to be retrieved by the petitioner in the presence of the officials of the concerned Police Station ('PS'), i.e., PS Gandi Nagar;
(iv) The petitioner and respondent no.2 shall make an endeavour to amicably resolve their disputes and if they arrive at an amicable settlement, all cases pending against each other shall be withdrawn and they shall be at liberty to stay together. (v) Respondent no. 2 undertakes that he will not forcefully enter into the place of residence of the petitioner. (vi) Any violation of the aforesaid settlement shall be construed to be the Contempt of the Court.
