Petition under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 ('BNSS') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner for quashing of FIR No. 0257/2024 under Section 308 IPC registered at P.S.: Malviya Nagar and proceedings emanating therefrom.

At the outset, learned APP for the State submits that as per opinion in MLC, the nature of injuries is grievous and chargesheet is to be filed shortly. 4.
