Learned counsel for the plaintiff states that in view of the judgment of the Supreme Court in Har Narayani Devi & Anr. vs. Union of India (2022) SCC Online SC 1265, the plaintiff has instructions to withdraw the present suit as the subject properties are agricultural land and governed by Delhi Land Reforms Act, 1954. It is stated in the plaint that the suit property no. 1 is being used for the agricultural purposes and suit property no. 2 is also located in the same village.

The present suit has been filed for partition of the estate of late Sh. Lahiri, who passed away on 09.09.2007. The counsel for the plaintiff on 08.07.2024 had sought time to place on record documents evidencing title of late Sh. Lahiri.
