The present application has been filed seeking disposal of the appeal on the ground that the FIR out of which the present appeal has arisen has already been quashed.

Learned counsel for the legal heirs of the deceased wife/respondent no.2/Anita Verma submits that since the wife had expired therefore, the legal heirs of the deceased wife were brought on record. 3.

He submits that during the pendency of the present appeal the parties have arrived at a settlement and in terms thereof the FIR No.0057/2006 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC, wherefrom the present appeal arises, already stands quashed by this Court vide order dated 11.12.2023 passed in Crl.M.C.6391/2023.
