The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent no.1/Municipal Corporation of Delhi ("MCD") to take demolition action and to stop any further unauthorized construction being carried out by the respondent no. 4 at property bearing house no. A10, Old Double Storey, Nirmal Puri, Amar Colony, Lajpat Nagar-4, Delhi-110024 (hereinafter the 'subject property').

Status report has been filed on behalf of the respondent no.1/MCD, wherein it is stated that the subject property has been booked and a sealing order was passed on 28th February, 2019. Subsequently, vacation notice was issued on 1st October, 2025.

filed an appeal before the Appellate Tribunal, MCD ('ATMCD') and the ATMCD vide its order dated 15th October, 2025 has directed the parties to maintain status quo.

In view thereof, the present writ petition is disposed of while directing the respondent no.1/MCD to take appropriate action, subject to the outcome of the appeal.

By way of this application, the petitioner seeks a direction to the respondent no.1/ MCD to immediately demolish the brick wall erected to block the petitioner's access to the toilet block. 6.

On the last date of hearing, counsel for the respondent no.1/MCD sought time to take instructions.

Counsel for the respondent no.1/MCD has returned with instructions and submits that the aforesaid toilet block has been sealed pursuant to directions passed by the Public Grievance Commission (PGC) on 20th February, 2019 so as to prevent encroachment of the said toilet block. Since the iron grill put earlier was removed, a brick wall has now been erected. 8.

As noted above, the present writ petition has been filed seeking demolition action against the unauthorised construction raised by the respondent no.4 at his property. By way of this application, the petitioner seeks reliefs beyond the scope of the writ petition. 9.

According, the application is dismissed.

Needless to state, the petitioner would be at liberty to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
