This is a petition under Section 29A(4) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 6 months for concluding the arbitral proceedings and passing the final award.

It is stated that the arbitral proceedings is at the stage of final hearing on behalf of the respondents and the learned Arbitrator has also appointed a Forensic Auditor. Since, the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal has expired on 28.06.2024, the present petition has been filed. 3.
Issue notice.

Mr Goswami, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.
