The Petitioners have approached this Court with the following prayers:
"a) Issue a writ of mandamus or certiorari thereby for issuing necessary directions to the respondents to remove entire illegal encroachments and illegal Parking On Guru Ravi Das Marg, from Govind Puri Metro Station to T- point Mehrauli-Badarpur Road, on adjoining Open area along entire Ravidas Marg and Service Lane & open Land on Govind Puri Stretch so that there should be clear continuity of 30 Mtrs width throughout the main road ; and The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
b) Issue a writ of mandamus or certiorari thereby for issuing necessary directions to the respondents to remove the entire encroachment from the service lane, open area along service lane, along Gali No.
1 to 17 Govind puri ; and c) Issue a writ of mandamus or certiorari thereby for issuing necessary directions to the respondents to not to permit the vendors of weekly market Budh Bazaar to occupy main road by blocking / putting obstructions in traffic movement and not allowing to put more than permissible tables ; and d) Issue a writ of mandamus or certiorari thereby for issuing necessary directions to the respondents to remove illegally parked vehicle from main Ravidas Marg on regular basis; and e) Issue a writ of mandamus or certiorari thereby for issuing necessary directions to the respondents to maintain sanitation/ cleanliness· on entire Ravidas Marg, main road and also direct the respondents to beautification of entire stretch from Metro Station to M.B.
Road along open area & service lane on Govind Puri Stretch ; and f) Pass any other further order(s) which this Hon'ble Court may dim fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice." 2.
Notice was issued in the writ petition on 26.09.2023. Status report has been filed.

This Court does not deem it expedient to pass further Orders in the writ petition. The Respondents are directed to strictly ensure that footpaths are not encroached by the street vendors and that the regular weekly markets are conducted in accordance with regulations framed by the MCD. Respondents are directed to remove the encroachments, if any, within a period of six weeks from today.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of, along with pending application(s), if any.
