This is a petition filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal, for making and publishing the Arbitral Award by a period of 10 months.

It is stated that the matter before the learned Arbitrator is at the final stage of arguments.

Mr. Joshi, learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice and has no objection to the petition being allowed.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay. The petition is allowed and the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of 10 months from today to make and publish the Arbitral Award.

The period from 02.04.2025 till today stands regularised. 7.

The petition is disposed of.
