These petitions are filed on behalf of the Petitioners under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (81996 Act9) seeking extension of mandate of three-member Arbitral Tribunal. 2.
Learned counsel for the Petitioners submits that by a detailed judgment dated 02.02.2024 in OMP (MISC) (COMM) 427/2023 and OMP O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 477/2025 & connected matter The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. (MISC) (COMM) 426/2023, mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal was extended till 31.12.2024 in respect of both the arbitral proceedings which are subject matter of these petitions and pertain to the same project and are being conducted by same Arbitral Tribunal. By a subsequent order dated 20.01.2025 in OMP (MISC) (COMM) 989/2024 and OMP (MISC) (COMM) 992/2024, the mandate was further extended upto 30.06.2025. It is submitted that Respondent No. 1 is under liquidation but insofar as extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is concerned, the issue stands decided by this Court vide judgment dated 02.02.2024 and taking into account this fact, the last extension was granted upto 30.06.2025. It is also submitted that award has been reserved for pronouncement and therefore the mandate be extended upto 31.12.2025 to enable the Arbitral Tribunal to pronounce and publish the award.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of Respondent No. 2, on instructions, has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

With the consent of the Petitioner and Respondent No. 2, mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended upto 31.12.2025 from today and period between 01.07.2025 to 06.08.2025 is regularized in respect of both the arbitral proceedings.

Petitions are allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
