This petition has been filed, under Section 29A (4) and 29A (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Act, 2019, seeking extension of the mandate of the arbitral tribunal, which is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a Contract dated 18.03.2010. 4.

The mandate of the learned arbitral tribunal was extended from time to time, lastly by order dated 24.07.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC)(COMM.) 543/2024 until 31.05.2025.

Learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the final arguments in the matter stand completed and the matter is pending for passing of the award. He prays that the time for passing the award be extended until 30.11.2025 and also the period of arbitral proceedings from 31.05.2025 till the date of order of extension be regularized. 6.

Issue notice. Mr. Abhishek Puri, learned counsel for the Respondent appears on advance notice and states that the Respondent has no objection to the relief sought.

With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the petition is allowed, and the mandate of the learned arbitral tribunal is extended till 30.11.2025.

The period of arbitral proceedings from 31.05.2025 till the order passed today is also regularized.

The petition, along with the pending application, stands disposed of in these terms.
