% 14.10.2025 1.

Heard the learned counsel representing the respondents. 2.

On 27.01.2025, the court passed the following order:- "1.

Counter affidavit on behalf of MCD was filed way back on 9th February, 2023, however, till date, no rejoinder to the said counter affidavit has been filed.

2.

The petitioner who appears in person prays for adjourning the matter for four months as she has stated that on account of some personal litigation, she has been advised by her counsel not to argue, neither to file any pleadings in the matter.

3.

We are not inclined to grant four months to the petitioner to file rejoinder affidavit, however, having regard to the personal difficulty of the petitioner, we permit her to file rejoinder within two weeks. 4.

Even otherwise, it has been brought to the notice of this Court by learned counsel for MCD that most of the concerns expressed in the The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. petition have been addressed and the MCD has chalked out a concrete policy so as to ensure the welfare of community dogs. 5.

Accordingly, list on 2nd April, 2025."

3.

The matter was thereafter, listed on 02.04.2025, which could not be taken up and accordingly, was again listed on 28.07.2025 and thereafter it is listed today. However, when the case is called out, neither the petitioner is present nor is there any prayer for adjournment. We also notice that even after earlier order passed on 27.01.2025, no rejoinder affidavit has been filed. 4.

It, thus, seems that the petitioner does not want to pursue this petition, which is hereby dismissed for want of prosecution.
