% 01.04.2024 We had noted the submissions which were canvassed by Mr. Kumar, who had on instructions referred to the outstanding demands pertaining to Assessment Years 2009-10, 2011-12 and 2016-17. According to Mr. Kumar, in light of the pending outstanding demands, the prayer for release of the seized currency would not sustain.
At this stage, learned counsel for the writ petitioner prayed for being accorded liberty to move the concerned respondent by way of a detailed representation and to address its prayer for the release of the seized currency with expedition. The aforesaid liberty is granted. The writ petition stands disposed of.
