This petition is filed seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.42/2024 under Sections 419/420/468/471/34 IPC registered at P.S. Tilak Marg. The complaint is regarding impersonation of examinees in the NEET examination held in May 2024. Superintendent, Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan who was invigilating the examination. On suspicion, he informed the police; one Krishna Keshwarni disclosed that he had been asked to appear on behalf of original candidate Aksh Aasthan on the promise to be paid Rs.3 lakhs by the petitioner. As per the bank statement, an advance payment of Rs.1.15 lakhs was shown as paid by petitioner to Mr. Krishna Keshwarni and an email id was also created for filing the application form.

The case has since been transferred to CBI; Mr. Anupam S Sharma, SPP for CBI states that after consolidating 6 cases of impersonation, it is found that petitioner is involved in yet another exam impersonation case in FIR No.254/2024 at PS Ambedkar Nagar.

Mr. Sharma has placed reliance on decision in State of Bihar v. Amit Bhandari v. State of Madhya Pradesh, SLP(CRL.) No. 7506/2014, and CBI v. Anil Sharma SLP(CRL.) No. 1127/1997.

In this view of the matter, petitioner is not entitled to anticipatory bail. The investigation is underway and a larger conspiracy seems to be afoot regarding impersonation in examinations, per the CBI SPP. 5.

Present petition stands dismissed.
