Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present bail application.

Permission, as prayed for, is granted.

It is trite law that dismissal of the application for anticipatory bail does not mean that the Petitioner must be arrested immediately. The Police must have reasons for arresting the Petitioner as arrest is the last resort. 4.

In case the Petitioner is arrested, as and when he moves an application before the competent court for grant of bail, the same shall be considered expeditiously, preferably within five days' time. 5.

With the observations, the bail application is disposed of as withdrawn along with pending application(s), if any.
