% 09.12.2025 MAT.APP.(F.C.) 230/2025 1.

Learned counsel representing the parties are ad idem that the Family Court has erred in declaring that the marriage between the parties under the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 is invalid, solely on the account that the Appellant belongs to a Scheduled Tribe. 2.

They have further stated that there was neither any issue with respect to this matter nor the parties were contesting the validity of the marriage. Consequently, left with no choice, this Court sets aside the finding of the Family Court to the extent whereby the marriage between the parties was declared invalid.

Hence, with the consent of the learned counsel representing the parties, this Appeal is allowed.

Accordingly, the present Appeal, along with pending application, stands disposed of.

MAT.APP.(F.C.) 334/2025 and MAT.APP.(F.C.) 383/2025 5.

List these Appeals for final disposal on 25.02.2026. 6.
