1. A status report has been filed by the SHO of Police Station Malviya Nagar. Shehnaz Shah is present in the Court with her husband Surya Pratap Singh. She has conveyed to the SHO of P.S. Malviya Nagar that she has married Surya Pratap Singh of her own free will. The documents pertaining to the marriage have been found to be correct. However, the address of the witness mentioned in the photocopy of the marriage certificate was found to be incorrect.

2. In any event, the couple is present in Court. Both the parents of Shehnaz Shah, i.e. the Petitioner and his wife are also present in Court. They state

that they have no objection to her marriage. Their counsel conveyed their desire to meet Shehnaz once in the Court premises. However, Shehnaz Shah is not willing to do so at present.

3. Shehnaz Shah. and Surya Pratap Singh have already furnished their present address and contact numbers to the SHO of P.S. Malviya Nagar. If the parents of Shehnaz Shah wish to meet her, they may get in touch with SHO who can facilitate the meeting in a congenial atmosphere. In case Shehnaz Shah and Surya Pratap Singh need any protection they can convey their request to the SHO concerned who will assess the requirement and take appropriate steps in that regard.

4. The petition is disposed of in the above terms.
