It is noticed that there was no appearance on behalf of the petitioner even on the previous date of hearing on which date the brother of the petitioner purported to appear and sought to withdraw the petition. However, the said request was declined in the absence of the petitioner. 3.

Learned counsel for the respondents informs that the property in question with regard to which the electricity connection has been sought in the present petition, has been booked on account of unauthorised construction.

In view of the non appearance of the petitioner, the present petition is dismissed in default for non-prosecution.
