This matter has been received on transfer from the Court of Hon'ble Mr. Justice Anoop Kumar Mendiratta.

This petition has been filed, assailing the order dated 16th March, 2024 passed by the ASJ, South-East District, Saket Court, dismissing the condonation of delay application for filing Criminal Appeal No.57/2024 against the judgment dated 25th July, 2023, convicting the appellant under Section 138 of the NI Act and order on sentence dated 02nd August, 2023. A perusal of the impugned order would show that the Trial Court has considered the various aspects of condonation of delay and has rightly concluded that the same cannot be allowed on the ground as stated by petitioner.

Accordingly, this Court finds no infirmity in the said order. 4.

The petition is, therefore, dismissed.
