This is a joint petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal by a period of 12 weeks w.e.f. 10.05.2024 for passing the final award.

It is stated that the parties have addressed final arguments and the matter is reserved for orders.

Issue notice.

Mr Kalra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and states that he has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

For the reasons noted above, I am of the view that sufficient cause has been explained for the delay.
