% 25.09.2019 Vide the present petition, the petitioners seek directions thereby quashing FIR No. 2378/2015 dated 15.10.2015, registered at PS - Shakarpur, District East Delhi and all other proceedings emanating therefrom.
Notice issued.
Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and counsel for the respondent no.2.
With the consent of the counsel for the parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.
The present petition is filed on the ground that the parties have settled their disputes amicably and the respondent nos. 2 and 3 have no objection if the present petition is allowed.
Respondent nos. 2 and 3 are personally present in Court with learned counsel and they have been identified by SI - Inderveer Singh/IO and submits that matter has been settled and they do not wish to prosecute the matter any further.
The petitioners and respondent nos.2 & 3 have entered into an amicable settlement vide settlement deed dated 18.04.2019. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has received the total settlement amount and prays that the present petition may be quashed.
Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.
For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No. 2378/2015 dated 15.10.2015, registered at PS - Shakarpur, District East Delhi and all other proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
The petition is allowed accordingly.
