On the last date of hearing during the course of submissions, learned counsels for the parties had stated that there is a possibility of an out-ofcourt amicable settlement inter se parties. 2.

Today, learned counsels appearing for the parties, upon instructions, state that the parties have been able to arrive at an amicable oral settlement whereby the appellant has agreed to pay a lumpsum compensation of Rs.6 lakhs to the respondent towards full and final settlement of all his claims. 3.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent, upon instructions from the respondent, who is present in person in the Court and is duly identified by the learned counsel, states that on receipt of aforesaid lumpsum compensation of Rs.6 lakhs, the respondent would be left with no claim whatsoever against the petitioner. The statement of the respondent is accepted and is taken on record. The gate-pass of the respondent is handed over and is taken on record.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the execution proceeding initiated by the respondent is listed before the Executing Court at Saket on 27.01.2026. He on further instructions, states that the demand draft of Rs.6 lakhs would be handed over to the respondent in the executing proceeding on the above noted date. The statement made on behalf of the counsel for the petitioner is accepted and is taken on record. It is made clear that both parties shall remain bound by their respective statements made by them today in the Court.

The petition stands disposed of in above terms along with pending applications.
