The present Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('CrPC') has been filed by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.231/2022 dated 18.05.2022 under Sections 279/338 IPC registered at P.S. Dwarka, Sector-23, New Delhi.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that with the intervention of respectable persons of the vicinity and relatives of both the parties, the matter has been amicably settled with respondent no.2/injured vide compromise deed dated 22.04.2024. The Compromise Deed dated 22.04.2024 is already on record as Annexure P/6. A request for quashing of the FIR has been made on account of the Settlement inter se the parties. In view of the settlement, the present Petition has been filed. 7.

The petitioner is present in the Court in person and respondent no.2 has joined through VC. They have been identified by their counsel and Investigating Officer concerned. The parties have endorsed the amicable settlement and submit that the settlement is arrived at voluntarily without any fear, coercion or threat and have no objection to the quashing of the FIR.

Today, the complainant/respondent no.2 who is present through VC states that she has no objection, if the FIR and the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

In view of the above facts that the parties have amicably resolved their differences out of their own free will and without any coercion, it would be in the interest of justice, to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. Moreover, there is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Accordingly, FIR bearing No. 231/2022 dated 18.05.2022 registered at Police Station Dwarka, Sector-23, for offences punishable under Sections The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.

279/338 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 ('IPC') and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed and the charge sheet is hereby quashed qua the accused person.
