It is informed by the counsels for the parties that the final order in the writ petition has been passed on 29th May 2024 by a Coordinate Bench of this Court.

The challenge in the writ arises in a set of batch matters preferred by licensees in respect of multi-purpose stalls at various railway stations, which were disposed of, noting that the Court did not find any merit in the petitions, and the same were dismissed.

However, considering that since the petitioners had been operating the concerned multi-purpose stall for a very long period of time, to enable the petitioners to make a transition and make alternative vending arrangement/s, the Court considered it apposite to grant a period of 3 months to the petitioners (from the date of the extended license period after taking into account the dies non period; OR from the date of this judgment, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
