This petition has been filed, under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of the mandate of the sole arbitrator, who is in seisin of disputes between the parties under a lease agreement dated 29.12.2005.

It is stated in the petition that the mandate of the arbitral tribunal expired on 02.05.2024.

I am informed that pleadings are complete and the proceedings are pending before the Collector of Stamps for validation of the sufficiency of the stamp duty on the lease agreement in terms of the order of the learned arbitrator dated 23.03.2024.

Mr. V.K.
