% 26.09.2019 The present writ of Habeas Corpus has been filed by the petitioner claiming that his wife - Ms.Nisha Singh has been detained by respondent Nos. 5 and 6 i.e. Ms. Nisha Singh's father and brother since 12th June, 2019. In the present petition, it has been averred that the petitioner after conversion to Hinduism had married Ms.Nisha Singh on 1st June, 2019. Today, learned counsel for the respondent - State has produced Ms. Nisha Singh. We have spoken to both the parties in our Chambers. Both the petitioner as well as Ms.Nisha Singh state that they would like to take a divorce by mutual consent. They further agree that they would withdraw the complaints filed by them against each other before any authority including the police. They also agree that they would delete their photographs

from Facebook or any other social media platform forthwith. The petitioner has agreed to delete/destroy videos or photographs of Ms.Nisha Singh in his possession.

The aforesaid statements/undertakings given by the petitioner as well as Ms. Nisha Singh are accepted by this Court and the parties are held bound by the same. The parties are directed to apply for divorce by mutual consent within two weeks. The court before which the petition for divorce by mutual consent is filed, is directed to expeditiously dispose of the same. With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
