The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant shall be satisfied if a direction is issued by this Court to the learned Trial Court to expedite the Trial.

I am informed that now, only formal witnesses are remaining to be examined before the learned Trial Court. The applicant is already in custody for a period of more than 4 years and 4 months. 3.

In view of the above, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the trial and make an endeavour to conclude the same preferably within a period of six months from the date of its first listing before the learned Trial Court post this order. 4.

The petition is disposed of as withdrawn with the above request.
