The petitioner essentially seeks expeditious disposal of Complaint Case No. 4394/2018 pending consideration before the learned Trial Court.

The learned senior counsel for the petitioner submits that that the petitioner had also approached this Court earlier for the expeditious disposal of the said complaint, when the Coordinate Bench of this Court had requested the learned Trial Court to dispose of the matter expeditiously by order dated 05.07.2023. He submits that despite the same, the complaint has still not been adjudicated due to repeated adjournments.

He submits that the petitioner will be satisfied if directions are given to the learned Trial Court to make endeavour to dispose of the complaint within a period of six to eight months. further submits that the learned Trial Court be requested to not grant undue adjournments at the request of the accused. 4.
Considering the aforesaid submission, the present petition is disposed of with a request to the learned Trial Court to make all endeavours to dispose of the complaint within a period of ten months.

The learned Trial Court is also requested not to grant any unwarranted adjournments and in case repeated adjournments are sought, adequate cost be imposed.
