Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner for grant of parole for a period of three months in FIR No.227/2010 under Section 302 IPC registered at P.S. Safdarjung Enclave.

Issue notice. Learned ASC for the State appears on advance notice and accepts notice.

Learned ASC for the State submits that present petition shall be treated as a representation on behalf of petitioner and the same shall be considered by the Competent Authority in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.

Taking the statement of learned counsel for petitioner on record, petition is accordingly disposed of with the directions to the respondent to consider the present petition filed on behalf of the petitioner as representation for grant of parole and decide the same within a period four weeks. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of. A copy of this order be forwarded to Superintendent Jail concerned for information and compliance.
