This petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed seeking following relief:

"a.

Issue a writ of mandamus or writ of any other nature, order(s), direction(s) to the respondents thereby directing the respondent no.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of petitioners from the respondent no.4 to 6 alongwith their associates, who are threatening the petitioners to liquidate them and hence the life and liberty of the petitioners are in jeopardy and also prohibit them from interfering in the life and liberty of petitioners in any manner whatsoever, in the interest of justice. b. It is submitted that despite the petitioner having been beaten up because of which he has suffered serious injuries, no FIR has been registered for which he has filed a petition before the learned MM which is pending. It is further submitted that while the petitioner is pursuing his remedies to get the FIR registered under Section 156(3) CrPC, he is being threatened by respondents no.4 to 6 that they would liquidate him, hence his life and liberty is in jeopardy.

It is submitted that respondent no.2 DCP East be directed to take action against respondent no.3 SHO who in connivance with respondents no.4 to 6 has not registered the FIR despite being the congnizable offence and despite the status report has been filed. Respondents no.4 and 5 be also directed to be taken into judicial custody.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has already taken steps under Section 156(3) CrPC for registration of the FIR. The IO present in Court submits that they will be doing the needful on the complaint of the petitioner within 7 days.

It is further submitted that the other relief which is sought on behalf of the petitioner is that there is threat of his life and he is receiving constant threats from SHO Gazipur who in connivance with respondents no.4 to 6. 6.

Petitioner is at liberty to approach the Witness Protection Committee, DLSA seeking protection in accordance with law. The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
