% 29.01.2026 1.
A perusal of the impugned order would indicate that the case of the petitioner has been considered within the definition of clause 2(b) of the Delhi Victim Compensation Scheme, 2018 ['Scheme of 2018']. 2.
It is rightly pointed out by the petitioner that he would fall within the definition of 'victim' and his case has not been considered as per the definition of 'victim' as prescribed in Section 2(k) of the Scheme of 2018. 3.
In view thereof, the case of the petitioner deserves to be reconsidered by the Delhi Legal Service Committee (South West), New Delhi. 4.
Let a fresh order be passed without any undue delay, in any case, within two months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order passed today.
