Pursuant to order dated 10th July 2024, an affidavit on behalf of respondent no.2/Deputy Director (Horticulture Department, Najafgarh Zone, New Delhi) has been submitted. The Court has perused the said affidavit.

The affidavit narrates in detail not only the efforts which have been taken to plant trees in the concerned site, which forms part of the petition, but in other sites in its vicinity.

The said compliance has, therefore, been carried out and maintenance of the said trees which have been planted as well as the surrounding area is being continuously done, as per Mr. Tushar Sannu, Standing Counsel for MCD.
