O R D E R

% 10.07.2024 1.

By way of present petition, the petitioners seek quashing of the FIR No.60/2024 under Sections 279/337 IPC which was registered on a PCR call at PS Tughlak Road, New Delhi.

Mr. M. Dutta, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners states that the said PCR call reported a collision between the petitioners. He submits that the investigation is at the initial stage and the parties have amicably settled their disputes. He submits that both petitioners want that the present proceedings be quashed.

The allegations in the present FIR pertain to rash and negligent driving by the petitioners which led to an unfortunate collision between their vehicles.

Mr. Sanjeev Sabharwal, learned APP for the State states that he has no objection to the quashing of the FIR.

The parties shall remain bound by the statements made in Court today.

Considering the provisions invoked in the FIR and the fact that the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement and the fact that the investigation is at the very initial stage, the present petition is allowed and the aforesaid FIR is quashed with the directions that both the petitioners shall remain careful in future.

The petition is disposed of accordingly alongwith miscellaneous application.
