The present petition is filed seeking quashing of FIR No.153/2022 dated 07.02.2022 for offences under Sections 498A/406/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered at Police Station Anand Parbat.

Respondent No. 2 is present in the Court and states that the Investigating Officer was initially informed that she is not interested in pursuing the matter under pressure from the family members. She submits that she wants the trial to proceed in the present FIR.

The notice was issued in the present petition on noting the arguments made by the petitioner that the quashing of the FIR is being sought on the ground that the parties have settled all their disputes, pursuant to the death of the complainant's husband. for arguments on charge.

The issue whether the petitioners have subjected the complainant to cruelty has been investigated, which has also led to filing of the chargesheet and the matter is now listed before the learned Trial Court for arguments on charge.

In view of the above, this Court does not consider it apposite to entertain the present petition at this stage. 6.

Petitioners are at liberty to raise all arguments before the learned Trial Court.
