% 24.07.2025 1.
This is an application for grant of interim bail for a period of 2 months filed on behalf of the applicant/accused in case FIR no. 508/2023 under Sections 302/201/120 (B)/34 of IPC registered at PS Janakpuri. 2.
The Ld. Counsel for the petitioner submits that a 3 year old son of the petitioner suffered burn injuries in a cylinder blast accident on 23.06.2025. The interim bail has been sought on the ground that petitioner has to make arrangements for the treatment of the minor son. 3.
The application has been opposed by Ld. APP assisted by Ld. Counsel for the complainant submitting that petitioner is the main accused involved in the case.
4.
The co-accused Sangram @ Shakti Gurjar, who was granted interim bail, has jumped the bail and has not surrendered in terms of the directions The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. of the Trial Court. It is further submitted that there are other family members including the wife of the petitioner to look after the minor son and, therefore, the petitioner may not be released on bail lest he may also jump the bail.
5.
The status report received from the Investigating Officer confirms the factum that son of the petitioner suffered second degree burn injuries due to gas cylinder blast on 23.06.2025. The report further confirms that the patient is hemodynamically stable and conscious and was discharged on 25.06.2025.
6.
Since the incident took place on 23.06.2025 and the patient was discharged on 25.06.2025 and the patient was stable and conscious, by now he must have undergone substantial treatment. 7.
Considering the aforesaid as also the fact the there are other family members to look after the patient, I do not deem it appropriate to grant interim bail to the petitioner.
8.
The application, is, therefore dismissed.
