Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the parties have been able to reach an amicable settlement. A copy of the settlement agreement dated 26.05.2025 has been handed over in the court today, which is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in terms of the settlement, the sum deposited vide the demand draft bearing No.218344 dated 17.04.2012 alongwith the interest accrued thereupon be released to respondent No.2.

Learned counsel for respondent No.2 also acknowledges the factum of settlement. The parties shall remain bound by the terms of the settlement. 3.
