CRL. M.A. 6466/2017 This is an application seeking extension of the provisional bail which was granted to the petitioner on 29.03.2017. The mother of the petitioner was to be operated for removal of Uterus on 05.04.2017 at Life Line Medical Centre, Mayur Vihar, Delhi.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in fact he was released on 06.04.2017. The schedule of operation has now been extended to 28.04.2017. The period of interim bail of the petitioner expires today. Hence, the present petition seeking extension of interim bail. The state has verified the assertion made by the petitioner. The status

report reveals that the date of operation has been extended to 28.04.2017. Considering the aforesaid fact, this Court is inclined to extend the interim bail granted to the petitioner by order dated 29.03.2017. Interim bail is extended for a further period of two weeks from today which would expire on 09.05.2017.

The petitioner shall be allowed to remain on the earlier bond furnishing by him and would be subject to the same conditions which were imposed on him.

The application stands disposed of.
