This is a petition under Section 11(6) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking reference of the disputes between the parties to an Arbitrator.

Learned counsel for the parties are ad idem that several other disputes between the respondent and other shop owners are presently being arbitrated by Hon'ble Mr. Justice V. Ramasubramanian, retired Judge of the Supreme Court.

Mr. Kirpal, learned Senior Counsel for the respondent fairly, does not object to this dispute being also referred to arbitration by ARB.P. 1004/2024 KUMAR 19:30:18 By:CHANDRASHEKHARAN HARI SHANKAR 19:28:49

Accordingly, dispute is referred to arbitration by Hon'ble Mr. Justice V. Ramasubramanian.

The fee of the learned Arbitrator would be chargeable as per the IV Schedule to the 1996 Act.

The learned Arbitrator is requested to file requisite disclosure under Section 12 of the 1996 Act within a week of entering of reference.
