The present writ petition has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking information with respect to the remedial action taken against the increasing pollution levels in Sahibi River, publicly known as Nazafgarh Nala or Ganda Nala, causing serious damage to the health of general public by way of air and water pollution, and thereby, seriously affecting the Right The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. to Life as per Article 21 of the Constitution of India of the persons residing on the bank of this Ganda Nala or Nazafgarh Nala. 2.
At the outset, this Court notes that the petitioners ought not to have made respondent no. 1 as a party to the present petition, considering the sensitivity of the Office concerned.

After some hearing, this Court is of the view that the present writ petition can be treated as a representation by respondent nos. 4 to 7. 4.
Accordingly, it is directed that the present writ petition be treated as a representation by respondent nos. 4 to 7 and requisite information regarding the various steps taken by the Authorities, with respect to the grievances raised in the present petition, be communicated to the petitioners. 5.
Let the needful be done, within a period of eight weeks from today. 6.
With the aforesaid directions, the present writ petition is accordingly, disposed of.
