O R D E R

By the present petition, the petitioner seeks transfer of investigation in FIR No. 170/2018 dated 23.08.2018, registered at Police Station Economic Offences Wing, Delhi Police to the Central Bureau of Investigation or any other independent investigating agency.

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite repeated orders including the order dated 11.11.2020 passed by this Court, the investigation has not been carried out in a proper manner. 3.

It is alleged that the Investigating Officers are hand in glove with the accused persons and have been filing closure reports despite there being enough documentary evidence against them.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has taken this Court through the report of the India Security Press, indicating that certain stamp papers were tampered and some were issued later whereas the Sale Deed has been mentioned to be of an earlier date.

He submits that the said documents have been stated to be genuine in the closure report filed by the Investigating Officer, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. which is ex facie incorrect. He submits that the same shows the conduct of the Investigating Officer.

He submits that the cancellation report was filed by the Police on 17.11.2021, followed by another report on 10.03.2025 reiterating the same stand.

He submits that the petitioner had already filed a protest petition which has still not been decided.

Mr. Sanjeev Bhandari, learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State disputes the contention that the investigation has not been carried out in a proper manner. 9.

Considering that the petitioner has already filed a protest petition pointing out the lacunae and the conduct of the Investigating Officer, this Court does not consider it apposite to pass any order at this stage.

Undisputedly, the petitioner is at liberty to file an appropriate application before the learned Trial Court for further investigation.

The present petition is disposed of with request to the learned Trial Court that since the FIR was registered way back in the year 2018, the protest petition be disposed of expeditiously without granting any unwarranted adjournment to any of the parties.

Needless to state that the petitioner is at liberty to approach this Court in future in case any grievance remains. 13.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of. Pending applications also stand disposed of.
