for extension of mandate of the learned Sole Arbitrator by a period of six months.

Disputes having arisen between the parties concerning business transactions between them, this Court appointed a Sole Arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes in a petition filed under Section 11(6) of 1996 Act. In both the petitions, it is stated that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of recording of Respondent's evidence and a period of six months is required to conclude the proceedings and pass the arbitral awards. Mandate of the learned Arbitrator is stated to have expired on 21.04.2025. 5.

Issue notice.

Mr. Shiv Mangal Sharma, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent in both the petitions and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitrator, albeit he submits that Respondent is open to amicable settlement of the inter se disputes.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of six months from 04.07.2025 and period between 22.04.2025 to 03.07.2025 is regularised in both the petitions. 8.

In the meantime, it is open to the parties to explore the possibility of amicable settlement of their disputes.

Petitions are allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
