This is a petition filed under Section 29(A)(4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time by a period of one year for pronouncement of the Arbitral Award. 2.

It is stated by Mr. Chaturvedi, learned counsel for the petitioner that there is a voluminous record and detailed cross examination happened which took some time.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Ms. Malhotra, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 5.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown and in view of no objection of the respondent, the petition is allowed and the period for making and publishing the arbitral award is extended by one year with effect from 16.06.2024.

The petition is disposed of.
