This is a petition filed under Section 29(A)(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 seeking extension of time by a period of six months for making and publishing the award.

It is stated by Mr. Tiwari, learned Counsel for the petitioner that the parties have already concluded the argument and the award is reserved. 6.

For the said reasons, issue notice.

Mr. Goyal, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondent and has no objection to the petition being allowed. 8.

I am satisfied that sufficient cause has been shown and in view of no objection of the respondent, the petition is allowed and the period for making and publishing the arbitral award is extended by a period of six months with effect from 16.07.2024.
