This petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated September 13, 2023, whereby his candidature to the post of Constable in ITBP was rejected because he had not qualified in Physical Standard Test. 2.
The submission of Mr. Ashish Nishchal, learned counsel for the petitioner is that according to the respondents, the petitioner did not meet the height requirement of 170 cm.

Mr. Jivesh Kumar Tiwari, learned Senior Panel Counsel appearing for the respondents on instructions submits that on relook the height of the petitioner is found to be as per the requirement, i.e., 170 cm. He on instructions also states that since the petitioner has qualified Physical Standard Test, the follow up action in respect of appointment to the post of Constable shall be proceeded as per Rules.
