This petition is filed under Section 11 of the Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996 for the appointment of an Arbitrator. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent has 'no objection', if the sole arbitrator is appointed for conducting the proceedings under the aegis of the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (in short 'DIAC').

In view of the above, this Court appoints Justice Manmohan Sarin, retired Chief Justice of Jammu & Kashmir High Court, as a sole arbitrator. The learned Arbitrator shall hold the proceedings under the aegis of DIAC and the Rules made therein.

The petition stands disposed of.

A copy of the order be sent to Justice Manmohan Sarin (Retd.) and the Co-ordinator of DIAC for information.
