By this writ petition, Petitioner No.1 and her minor daughter seek a direction to DJB, BSES, Yamuna Power Limited and Indraprastha Gas Limited to immediately provide water, electricity and gas connections respectively in respect of property bearing No. P-138, 2nd Floor, Gali No. 8, Bihari Colony, Shahdara, North East Delhi.

Ms. Sangeeta Bharti, learned Standing Counsel appearing for DJB and Mr. Moksh Arora, appearing for BSES, Yamuna Power Limited, jointly submit that Petitioners are wrongly blaming the authorities concerned for not providing water and electricity connections whereas per record Petitioner No.1 has not even made an application for the connections. 3.

family disputes. He, however, submits that applications will be made as early as possible along with all requisite documents and payment of charges, etc. and a direction be issued to process the applications without any delay. Same is the status with regard to the gas connection. 4.
The writ petition is disposed of leaving it open to the Petitioners to make applications for water, electricity and gas connections. As soon as the applications are made and all requisite formalities are completed, the concerned authorities shall process the applications as expeditiously as possible and in accordance with the time lines prescribed, if any, in the applicable regulations.

In case of any surviving grievance, Petitioners will be at liberty to seek revival of this writ petition.
