The present Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed on behalf of the petitioners seeking appropriate directions to the respondents to register an FIR against Sanjay Mehndiratta on the Complaint dated 04.08.2023 and also direct the respondents to ensure safety of the life and limb of the petitioners, being the senior citizens. 2.

Learned Standing Counsel for the respondents submits that on the Complaint dated 04.08.2023 of the petitioners, an NCR has been registered and the same has been forwarded to the Court of Metropolitan Magistrate. Further, the mobile numbers of the Beat Constable and the concerned SHO have already been provided to the petitioners to ensure the safety of their life and limb, being the senior citizens.

04.08.2023 is concerned, the requisite security has already been provided to the petitioners and in case, there is any further complaint is received from the petitioners, the respondents shall provide the requisite security to the petitioners.

It is also informed on behalf of the respondents that the Beat Constable regularly visits the house of the petitioners. 5.

It is directed that the petitioners being the senior citizens be registered with the Police and the periodical visits be ensured in accordance with law. 6.
